Steve de Groot, manager at Moonshiners, is quite the chess player. A highly rated Manitoban amateur, he took part in the an international chess tournament in Las Vegas last weekend. With 130 entrants in his section, Steve tied for 8th place – pretty good for a guy from the ‘Peg. Plus, he won a few bucks! Congrats Steve.
So now I can’t imagine trying to pull a stunt on him. As you know, chess players – the good ones at least, are operating several moves ahead! Cheers
