– Are Gift Certificates available? What denominations if so?

– Any specials / sales going on right now?

– When do I have to start a wine for it to be ready for Christmas?
For 29 years, we’ve been harping about the benefits of aging wine. Most kits recommend 3 to 6 months of aging for reds, and 1 to 3 months aging for whites. These are recommended minimums from the producer. And there is good reason for it : the top quality of a wine is only reached much after it has finished fermenting. If you are able to achieve this amount of aging, you will have a higher quality product when you want to drink it.
For this reason, we recommend always aging the wine for the minimum recommended time – you’ll get more quality bang for your buck. Therefore, you need to add the minimum recommended aging time on to the 4 or 6 weeks the wine kit will take to make and clear. This normally means reds need to be started as early as May/June for 6 week kits, or August/September for 4 week kits.
