Any company has to keep a close eye on costs – otherwise prices go up. There are often ways to cut costs while still maintaining quality and good service. An examples come to mind:
Essences – these come in Liquor Quik 20ml and Prestige 50ml. LQ mixes with approx 750ml and the Prestige with approx 1750ml. Prestige is able to be offered for less than LQ on a per volume basis due to reduced costs of packaging. They are able to sell more volume in less units, which keeps overhead down. The result is the aforementioned lower price per volume.
