Every now and then we get a client asking about aging products made with the liquor essences – something along the lines "Do liqueur essences mellow the taste of alcohols with aging?"
Up until recently, we couldn’t really be sure. We decided it was time to put this question to the test. We made up a sample in November to test. Some six months later, the improvement in the taste and aroma is obvious. Compare the 6 month old test bottle to a freshly blended bottle, and you see just how much a difference it makes!
This makes sense, as many of the higher quality products you get at the MLCC are aged for years prior to being sold.
